Park Avenue Senior Housing Wall-Mounted Benches
The courtyard at this San Jose senior housing development is built around cast-in-place concrete planter walls, so the seating went onto the walls rather than onto the paving. Each bench was made to its own size to fit the layout exactly.
Jatoba for the seats, hot-dip galvanized steel underneath for the corrosion resistance, and armrests throughout, which matter a great deal when the residents are older.
